- Till 2018, Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) has conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
- In 2019 onwards, National Testing Agency has the control of conducting the GPAT examination for getting admission into medical courses across the country.
GPAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should first check and ensure the eligibility criteria for applying the GPAT 2020 examination before starting to fill the application form of GPAT 2020.

Candidates must be a citizen of India
Educational Qualification
Candidates must secured a bachelor’s degree in the field of pharmacy (4 years after 10+2 and including lateral entry students) from a recognized university.
The Candidates who appear for the final year of bachelor’s degree whose result will be announced before the commencement of the admission in the academic year of 2020-2021 can also apply.
- B. Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/equivalent candidates are not eligible to apply the GPAT 2020 examination.
Age Limit
There is no upper or lower age restriction for participating in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).

Aspirants who have fulfill the eligibility criteria for GPAT can apply the application form for GPAT 2020. The online application form filling process has the five steps to complete the entire process. It can be listed as follows.

Necessary Documents for filling Application Form
Students should keep the original documents in their hands during filling the online application form. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.

Step 1: Registration
Registration is the mandatory one before starting to apply the application form of GPAT. Candidates should visit the official page of NTA GPAT 2020. In Registration stage, applicants should provide the basic details such as the full name, email id, mobile number for registering purpose. After submitting the valid details, the application number and password will send to the registered email address and mobile number. This log in credential will useful for complete the remaining part of the application process.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
Candidates should log in with valid application number has generated at the time of registration. In this stage, applicants should fill their personal details such as their name, mother and father name, gender, DOB, Category, and also have to fill the educational details like qualifying degree. All the details are should be verified by the candidate before submitting the entered details. If once submitted, it cannot be changed in the application forms. So, candidates are advised to fill carefully with valid details during filling the application form of GPAT 2020.
Step 3: Upload the Necessary Documents
After filling the personal and education details in the application form, candidates should have to upload their images of photograph and signature. The candidate’s photograph and signature should be scanned in the format of JPG/JPEG. The photograph should be colored or black/white (clear contrast).
- The size of the scanned candidate’s photograph should be between 10kb to 200kb.
- The size of the scanned candidate’s signature should be between 4kb to 30kb.
Note: Candidates are advised to upload the correct images of photograph and signature as the facility for correction in images will not be given.
Step 4: Pay the Application Fees
Mode of Fees Payment:
There are two ways to pay the application fees for Graduate Aptitude Pharmacy Test (GPAT) – 2020.
- Online Mode – Credit/Debit/Net Banking
- Offline Mode – SBI Challan
Candidates are confirmed only after the successfully paid the application fees in the online or offline mode. Students can choose any one of the listed payment gateways as listed on the screen and pay the application fees as per their category wise.

Step 5: Print Confirmation Page
Students should print the confirmation page once the payment has successfully paid. Applicants is considered for participate in the GPAT examination that only candidates who has received the confirmation page after payment of fees. Students can check their confirmation of payment transaction at NTA GPAT official website. In case the confirmation page is not generated after payment of application fees then the transaction is canceled, and the amount will be refunded to the concerned candidate’s account.

Marking Scheme of GPAT
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test have totally 125 questions in the test pattern. All the questions will be asked in the type of Multiple Choice Questions.

GPAT 2020 Cutoff Marks
