All the applicants who can check and download the GATE Exam 2020 Hall Ticket/Admit Card from official website. The expected month of January the admit card will be announced by the official site for GATE. Admit card shall not be sent by post/E-mail. Candidates should bring the color printout of the Downloaded Admit Card to the Test center original and valid photo Identification Copy.
GATE Admit Card Details
- Candidates must give the details of the ID proof while filling the online application. For international candidates, only a valid passport/ government issued ID college/ Employee ID shall be accepted as the recognized Identification.
- Along with the Admit card, one identity proof is also needed for Entering into the Examination Hall.
- Candidates can Download the GATE Admit card from the official site. Admit card is mandatory for every candidate for Entering the Exam Hall.
- For Filling Application forms, one can use their E-mail ID. One can use one E-mail ID to submit one application form.
- For downloading the admit card the details like GOAPS enrolment ID and password is required to download the GATE Admit Card.
Procedures for Downloading GATE Admit Card
- Login to GATE 2020 Login page (link given below).
- Enter the Enrollment ID and Password.
- Click on the GATE Admit card link.
- In the link page, Print option will be available, click onto it.
- Now the candidate can save it in drive and take printout for further process.
- Candidates can also download the GATE Admit card from the official web portal of GATE Which is www.gate.iitr.ernet.in
About GATE
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development MHRD, Government of India.
GATE Admit Card 2020 Date
The GATE 2020 Admit Card will be released from 5th January 2020. The GATE examination will be conducted on 3rd – 4th February & 10th – 11th February 2020. GATE 2020 examinations will be organized during forenoon (9 AM to 12 Noon) and the afternoon (2 PM to 5 PM) sessions on weekends. Without valid GATE 2020 Hall Ticket and photo identification proof candidates will not be permitted to sit in the examination.
Contents of GATE Admit Card
- The Admit Card will carry all the required information’s like important dates, and GATE 2020 information and exam centers details, exam timings. GATE 2020 Admit card should be downloaded by the candidates through GOAPS using their own enrolment ID & password.
- GATE Admit card will be expected to be released on 17th December 2020 on the official website. Candidates should bring the above-mentioned ID proofs for verification.
