According to the latest survey, around 8.61 lakh students appear for the Language paper in 2,795 centres in Tamilnadu and Puducherry. Recent press release, nearly 19,375 boys and 22,105 girls from 355 schools are writing the examination in 155 centres across the district. Of this, 95 were differently-abled students.
A total of 155 chief invigilators and the same number of department officers and 2,270 hall invigilators have been appointed for the Class XI board examinations.
